Traction
The Traction alternative for powersports dealers
Traction bundles the website and the media buying. Most dealers who come to us already have an agency they like, and do not want changing their web platform to mean changing that too.
What Traction is
Traction is a powersports-focused website provider and digital marketing agency serving motorcycle, ATV, UTV and off-road dealers. Its model puts the website and the media buying under one roof, so campaign and site changes are made by the same team.
What Traction sells
Stated from public information, so you can weigh it yourself. Note that this is scope — what is on the price list — which is a different question from what any of it does to your lead volume:
- Powersports-only focus.
- Website and media buying handled by the same team.
Where ScoutX differs
Purpose-built for powersports is the right starting point and we share it. What separates platforms from there is speed, conversion mechanics, and how fast a dealer can change their own site without a ticket. Ask any vendor for three live customer URLs and run them through PageSpeed on a phone — that single test tells you more than any feature list, ours included.
Why dealers tell us they move
What follows is what dealers said when they switched. It is reported experience, not a measurement we made of Traction’s product — we are careful about that distinction and you should be sceptical of any vendor who is not.
- Dealers who already have an agency they trust do not want to re-buy media to get a better website.
- Platform depth. An agency-led product tends to be strongest at campaign support and thinner on the shopping experience itself.
Side by side
ScoutX compared with Traction
Where a cell says Not published, that vendor does not publish the information and we are not going to invent it. Where it says Varies by package, it genuinely differs by tier — ask them directly.

Verify our column rather than trusting it. Ask us for three live customer URLs and run them through Google PageSpeed Insights on mobile — and ask Traction for the same.
What actually changes
The measured average on the Scout platform is a 2.5× lift in unique leads in the first 30 days, across nine dealer groups that switched, each against its own pre-launch baseline rather than an industry benchmark; the range is 1.6× to 3.4×. Those nine are RV dealer groups running the same codebase, forms, search and concierge — we label them rather than restate them as powersports numbers.
The powersports measurement we hold is a single store: a single-location franchise that went from 86 to 256 unique leads in its first full month, on fewer sessions than the month before. One dealer is not an average, and it is not published as one.
Common questions
Switching from Traction
We already have an ad agency. Does ScoutX work with them?+
Yes — that is the common case. Your agency keeps the media, we run the site, and they get cleaner data to work with: proper conversion tracking, campaign attribution that survives the click, and analytics that separate real search traffic from display.
Do you run our Google Ads?+
No. Scout is the platform, not the media buyer — we work alongside whoever runs your media.
How do leads get to our CRM?+
Directly, in the format your CRM expects, with a retry path if a delivery fails. Every lead is also stored on our side, so a CRM outage is never a lost lead.
Bring your current invoice and your lead volume.
We will map it against what Scout includes, in the open, on the first call.
