What actually happened to lead volume
The figure below is month one on the new site against that dealer's own pre-launch baseline, counted the same way before and after. No industry benchmark and no projection — and no average, because this is one dealer and one dealer is not an average.
Unique sales leads in the first full month on the new site, measured against the dealer’s own pre-launch baseline. Both sides were read from the same GA4 property spanning the switch, so the lead definition is one definition rather than two tools compared with each other. Sessions are reported next to leads because the claim is about conversion, and that is only checkable if the traffic it converted is shown beside it.

About these numbers
Why are the dealerships not named?+
We do not publish a client’s lead volume under their name without written clearance, and most dealers would rather their competitors did not know what their website produces. Scale, inventory count, previous platform and launch month are all real.
What counts as a unique lead?+
One identifiable person with usable contact information, deduplicated across forms and sessions, delivered to the dealer’s CRM. A shopper who fills in two forms is one lead, not two.
